ITALIAN ACCORDION CULTURE

The association ACCORDION ITALIAN CULTURE is a non-profit organization established in Via Lorenzo Betti, 24 in Spoleto (PG). The statutory aims to document and promote cultural initiatives, especially, the music in all its forms and facets; our objectives are designed to the revaluation of the songs of the folk tradition, vocational training, exploitation of new talent and the realization of events targeted acquisition of skills, socialization and mutual cooperation. The association also wants to contribute, thanks to the support of volunteers, to search, for the preservation and dissemination of evidence aimed at the preservation of historical memory, foundation of our civilization and our folklore.

The IAC plays, also, the office of Voting Member of the Italian CIA IMC-UNESCO conferred by virtue of the application by voting members took part in the Congress of the Confederation Internationale des Winter accordéonistes, tenutosi and Skopje, in Macedonia, in January 2008. This title gives the possibility to organize the selection of the best Italian accordionists, who will have the right to enter the final phase of the Coupe Mondiale (CIA) which annually awards the various stages intercontinental. The event consists of a week of music ranging from the International Competition (Prize Tools&Music) the many concerts offered by the most renowned artists and established.

The association ACCORDION ITALIAN CULTURE participates in all activities related to music in general and, specifically, those related to the accordion, to give way to the supporters and virtuosos of the instrument to forge bonds of friendship between their, fraternity and contribute, in a spirit of mutual cooperation, the spread between the peoples of the historical and traditional ideals of this ancient cultural heritage.
